Guitar Lessons Newtown

Belle is an experienced guitar, bass guitar and ukulele teacher working around Newtown and Sydney’s Inner West and performing all around New South Wales. With a current passion for Australian Indie Rock music, Belle also has a diverse musical background with experience in Jazz, Rock, Classical and Country.

Born and raised in regional NSW, Belle’s passion for music started at an early age when she joined brass bands with the trumpet and trombone. Although she has since moved on from classical training, it was this which gave her such a deep understanding of musical theory. After picking up guitar and vocals, Belle was soon travelling across Central West NSW playing back-to-back acoustic gigs on the weekends, while teaching guitar and ukulele at her childhood music school ‘Bathurst Academy of Music’ during the week. In 2019, she studied at the Australian Academy of Country Music in Tamworth, where she gained in-depth knowledge about music theory, songwriting and the music industry. 

After graduating with a 98 in HSC Music 1 in 2021, Belle moved to Newtown, Sydney to Study a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Music Practice) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she still studies today. It was here that she became mates with the members of ‘Civic Video’ who asked her to join on the Bass guitar at the start of 2023. The band has since gathered a large following, released two new singles, been aired on Triple J and toured New South Wales with their Indie Rock tunes.
