Luke teaches in and around the North Sydney area. Luke’s teaching methods include giving advice on how to practice and directing his students on what to practice based on their interests and what they have requested to learn. His approach will vary from student to student in order to suit them best. For example some are more suited to structure and he will spend some time teaching technical and aural exercises to increase skill and musicianship. Other students, however, may only be interested in learning songs. He likes teaching people of all ages, He is able to understand the needs of students who are just starting off, and loves helping players with more experience develop their technique, learn a new style and increase their repertoire. He received a band 6 for his final Music Extension performance for HSC and has currently deferred an offer at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music for the BMus (Classical Performance). He has just completed a diploma in film at AFTRS where he has gained further experience in music composition and sound design.
