Guitar Lessons Berowra
Hi, I’m Nazli. I’m a classical and fingerstyle guitar teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching music to children. I hold a Bachelor of Music and I’m an accredited Suzuki Early Childhood Music and Guitar teacher.
I love working with young beginners and can teach children from the age of four, or even younger if they are ready. I offer both the Suzuki method, which focuses on listening, imitation, repetition, and parent involvement, as well as the traditional method, which begins with music reading. I can adapt lessons to each student’s needs and learning style.
My focus is always on building skills while ensuring that students feel successful and enjoy playing. I design my lessons to develop strong technique, musical understanding, and expressive playing. For me, teaching is not just about learning tunes — it’s about helping students grow in confidence, develop discipline, and discover a lifelong love of music.
While much of my experience is with young children and school-aged students, I also teach adults of any age. Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time, returning to it after a break, or looking to develop new skills, I can support you. From playing classical pieces or familiar tunes, to learning chords and arpeggios for singing and accompaniment, or just for enjoyment, I will tailor lessons to your goals.
I can also help students prepare for Classical Guitar AMEB exams.
I teach from my home studio in Berowra Heights, on weekends and some weekdays. My weekday schedule may change slightly each year depending on my school teaching commitments, which is why I don’t post exact weekday times here. If you’d like to know more about availability, please send me a message and I’ll be happy to chat.
