Guitar lessons Maroubra Beach

Hi, my name is Lyn.  I’ve been playing guitar since the age of 8, in the early 80’s,  learning classical guitar and then moving to contemporary including rock.  I’m definitely a ‘rock chick’ with a classical background.

I pass on the knowledge by tutoring in all types of guitar technique – electric, acoustic, classical, bass – music theory, and performance for beginners to intermediate, focusing on classical theory and technique as it applies to contemporary genres and performance. Genres include pop, rock, folk, blues, jazz and derivatives.

I also teach the basics of music production and recording, singing, songwriting or composition.

I’ve performed and recorded with a number of artists over the years, as well as being a solo singer/songwriter. I have a home studio based at Maroubra Beach.

I can tutor via video conference or visit you at your home for lessons*.

If you choose me to be your tutor, a minimum 3-month commitment is required so that you see any progress or improvement in your playing.
