Leichhardt Guitar Lessons
Jake is a professional musician who teaches from him home studio in Leichhardt Sydney and online via Skype. He is a well rounded teacher having over 10 years of teaching experience as well as 7 years of online teaching experience.
He graduated with a bachelor of music from the Australian Institute of Music in 2010 and is currently a member of international touring band Plini, progressive metal band The Helix Nebula and has his own solo music project. He is happy to teach people of all skill levels in any genre and has a passion for teaching theory, songwriting and technique.
Having played piano since the age of 4, drums at the age of 11 and guitar at the age of 14 Jake is a well rounded musician. He graduated his HSC with a score of 94 in music and in 2010 completed his Bachelor Of Music at AIM. He has played in multiple bands including progressive metal bands The Helix Nebula and Point Below Zero as well as pop covers bands around Leichhardt, Sydney.

As an older adult beginning rhythm guitar player (I am 47), I took my first lesson with Jake, and I have to say, I was very impressed, Jake really knows his stuff. In the hour lesson I took with Jake, I learned new things I didn’t know before.
I found Jake to be very patient and helpful, and when I had my lesson with him, he had everything ready for any questions I had.
So if there are any of you thinking of taking lessons, especially those of us, who love our hard rock, I thoroughly recommend Jake as your choice of teacher.
