Guitar Lessons Rouse Hill

Hi, I’m Saman — a professional guitarist and private guitar tutor based in Rouse Hill, Sydney.

I hold a degree in music from the Australian Institute of Music and have over 20 years of experience in performing, teaching, composing, and working with students of all ages. Throughout my career, I have played in a wide range of styles, including rock, progressive rock, blues, jazz, and contemporary music, which allows me to teach students from beginner to advanced levels with confidence.

My teaching philosophy is simple: learning music should be enjoyable and approachable. I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps to ensure that students learn with confidence and discover genuine joy in playing guitar.

What I Teach

My lessons cover a wide range of skills, including:

• Various musical styles and genres
• Technique development (left and right hand)
• Improvisation
• Music theory
• Performance readiness

For younger students (ages 5–9), I use the Progressive Guitar Method for Young Beginners, followed by the Rockschool program as they advance. I am also flexible with lesson content, tailoring each session to the student’s personal goals and musical interests. Additionally, I provide guidance and preparation for AMEB guitar examinations.

 I also help students explore digital amp modelling to create and shape their dream guitar tones across different genres.
