Inner West Guitar & Bass Tutor

Paul is available for lessons in 2018 at his inner west home studio in Stanmore. The studio is fully equipped with acoustic, electric and bass guitars, amps and effects pedals so students do not need to bring their own equipment. Fully included in the lessons, Paul provides custom mixed backing-tracks for you to keep, in order to practice the music YOU want to learn in your own time, no matter the artist.

Whether you’ve never picked up an instrument before, or already have a solid foundation in theory and technique, Paul has a passion for helping people understand music theory and guitar technique in a way that makes sense to each individual. Just as important as learning which notes to play is to understand HOW the guitar or bass fits in to the arrangement and groove of a song – lessons which can give you a deeper understanding of the logic behind all music.

About Paul:

Paul has been a professional touring musician, songwriter & recording artist for over fifteen years, playing across Australia and internationally, from Texas to New Zealand to New York with a range of touring bands, as well as performing in productions at the Sydney Theatre Company & Belvoir St Theatre.

He holds a BA (Honours) in Contemporary Music Studies, Macquarie University.
