Sydney Guitar Lessons music school will give you tuition in guitar, bass guitar, ukulele and singing skills ranging from complete beginner through to songwriting, performance and theory lessons. We use a variety of recognised music methods to help you progress with all the skills required to reach your musical goals. Our teachers can also teach you to play and sing your own or your favorite songs. All styles and levels are accounted for. Our studios are located in numerous locations around Sydney and our teachers are passionate and experienced live and session guitar players as well as qualified music professionals. We use many talented teachers with experience in styles from many corners of the globe who will take you through a recognised music method or a teacher will tailor the lessons to suit your individual needs.

Online Guitar, Ukulele, Bass and Vocal lessons are available with our teachers! Our teachers use a wariety of methods including Skype, Zoom, Google Classroom, Messenger, Whatsapp. We will use a platform that suits you.

Any Teacher that offers to teach children is required to have an active Working With Children Check (WWCC)

One-on-one lessons are available as well as group lessons (if possible) in a relaxed inspiring studio environment or a teacher can visit the student’s home. We are a team of friendly, qualified, professional, experienced and patient teachers!!! Beginners are very welcome.

Advice will happily be given to help you with buying your first guitar. Students are also welcome to use guitars from the studios to get a feel for the different options available.

I've been looking for a guitar tutor for some time now and have tried a few over the last several years but they hasn't worked out due to wanting me to commit to dates/times which is hard with my schedule. 1 am a complete beginner, learning to play the Tenor Ukulele. I searched the internet for a teacher and came across Sydney Guitar Lessons, and thank goodness I did. They have many teachers who teach many instruments and also singing. I sent an email to them to let them know that I am a complete beginner. Angus is amazing and has helped me through many questions that I have raised including finding a teacher for me. I am passed retirement age and Angus has found me a perfect teacher just 15 minutes (Newtown) from where I live. David is a great Teacher and is very friendly and yet very professional. I have tried to teach myself for the last 6 months to no avail. I learned to play quite a lot from the very first lesson with David and I can't believe that I am actually playing HALLELUJAH by LEONARD COHEN. I will stay with David for a long time and maybe have 1 hour lessons instead of half hour. My son Robin who also wants to learn the Ukulele ( Baritone ) will begin lessons with David in a couple of weeks. We both look forward to having so much fun with our music. I would just like to mention again PLEASE get in touch with SYDNEY GUITAR LESSONS and Angus will give you all the help you need to find a good teacher.
