Classical Guitar Lessons Haberfield

I’m a classical guitar teacher based in Haberfield, working with students from complete beginners through to more advanced players. Lessons are tailored to each student, with a focus on solid technique, reading skills, and steady, structured progress without it feeling dry or overly rigid. For those interested, I also support (and highly encourage!) AMEB exam preparation and performance goals.

My approach to teaching is to keep lessons fun and engaging, while building a genuine love for music, the instrument, and performing.

While classical guitar is my main focus, I’m equally comfortable teaching acoustic and electric, as well as bass and ukulele. The aim is always the same: give students a strong foundation so they can play with confidence, whatever direction they take.

Above all, lessons are designed to be something students look forward to each week. Progress matters, but so does enjoying the process and actually wanting to pick up the guitar outside of lessons…
