I’m Matt and I’m a 24 year old music teacher / performer teaching in  Camperdown and the inner west of Sydney. I’ve been playing guitar for 10 years and teaching beginners too intermediates & advanced of all ages for over 3 years. I specify in styles such as funk, blues, slide guitar, folk, rock and soul using the acoustic, bass or electric. I teach my students how to expand their repertoire and also help them to tackle more advanced material so that they can have friendly jams with their mates or be ready for their HSC.
I want to find in the student what type of music brings them to life and fuels their passion for guitar so that when they go home after a lesson they don’t want to put it down.
 
Lessons can be done at my home in Camperdown or i can travel around the inner west as long as it’s close to public transport or accessible by bike.

  • One word, AMAZING! I have been searching for a suitable guitar teacher around Sydney area for so long but never had I ever found a guitar teacher as knowledgeable, approachable and attentive like Grant. I love this place because they can suggest you the best teacher that suits your need (e.g genre of songs). In my case, I would love to have a guitar teacher that can teach me classical songs and fix my technique. That's when I was introduced to Grant who is teaching at AIM. I love how this place offer qualified and excellent teachers as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with the customer service from the admin team and very happy and excited with my first lesson with Grant. I would recommend this place for everyone. All you need is give them a call or email and they will give you a very fast response! Nice.
