Tom Wood is an excellent guitar teacher. He is prompt (both in person before Covid lockdown and now online), professional, very personable and encouraging. Our seven-year-old son has responded well to his teaching style, and we are very pleased that Sydney Guitar Lessons has put us in contact with Tom.

1 am a complete beginner, learning to play the Tenor Ukulele. I searched the internet for a teacher and came across Sydney Guitar Lessons, and thank goodness I did. They have many teachers who teach many instruments and also singing. I sent an email to them to let them know that I am a complete beginner. Angus is amazing and has helped me through many questions that I have raised including finding a teacher for me. I am passed retirement age and Angus has found me a perfect teacher just 15 minutes (Newtown) from where I live. David is a great Teacher and is very friendly and yet very professional. I have tried to teach myself for the last 6 months to no avail. I learned to play quite a lot from the very first lesson with David and I can't believe that I am actually playing HALLELUJAH by LEONARD COHEN. I will stay with David for a long time and maybe have 1 hour lessons instead of half hour. My son Robin who also wants to learn the Ukulele ( Baritone ) will begin lessons with David in a couple of weeks. We both look forward to having so much fun with our music. I would just like to mention again PLEASE get in touch with SYDNEY GUITAR LESSONS and Angus will give you all the help you need to find a good teacher. I've been looking for a guitar tutor for some time now and have tried a few over the last several years but they hasn't worked out due to wanting me to commit to dates/times which is hard with my schedule. I came across this site on a google search and they put me in touch with a tutor close to me very quickly. I've now had my first lesson and will be going as regularly as I can. This service is great, there are plenty of teachers to choose from. I found a classical guitar teacher and was already having my first lesson within a matter of days.

One word, AMAZING! I have been searching for a suitable guitar teacher around Sydney area for so long but never had I ever found a guitar teacher as knowledgeable, approachable and attentive like Grant. I love this place because they can suggest you the best teacher that suits your need (e.g genre of songs). In my case, I would love to have a guitar teacher that can teach me classical songs and fix my technique. That's when I was introduced to Grant who is teaching at AIM. I love how this place offer qualified and excellent teachers as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with the customer service from the admin team and very happy and excited with my first lesson with Grant. I would recommend this place for everyone.
