Guitar lessons in Hornsby and across Sydney’s Upper North Shore, taught by a professional multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer with over 18 years of experience. I am passionate and sincere musician/teacher with hundreds of original compositions behind my years of experience with some formal qualifications (Bachelor and a Diploma) and I run my own studio, Sydney Guitar & World Percussion, offering lessons across guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, cajon, bongos, daf, riq, tombak, darbuka, djembe, handpan and shakers.

Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced player refining technique, and are available in Hornsby, the Upper North Shore, and online across Sydney. Beyond one-on-one tuition, I also offer mixing, mastering, and music composition and more so students get to learn from someone actively working in the industry, not just teaching from theory.

He possessing a vast breadth of knowledge to assist the beginning newbie guitarist all the way to the professional looking to touch up on their skills. This was a great service. Really easy to find a teacher. Angus was super responsive as emailed me almost immediately after my request. The teacher has also been great and is clearly has great training and qualifications. Also very flexible in terms of timing and coming to our house.

One word, AMAZING! I have been searching for a suitable guitar teacher around Sydney area for so long but never had I ever found a guitar teacher as knowledgeable, approachable and attentive like Grant. I love this place because they can suggest you the best teacher that suits your need (e.g genre of songs). In my case, I would love to have a guitar teacher that can teach me classical songs and fix my technique. That's when I was introduced to Grant who is teaching at AIM. I love how this place offer qualified and excellent teachers as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with the customer service from the admin team and very happy and excited with my first lesson with Grant. I would recommend this place for everyone. All you need is give them a call or email and they will give you a very fast response! Nice.
