James has been teaching my 15 yo nephew electric guitar for over a year now. James is a gifted player and even more gifted teacher. He is engaging, knowledgeable and it is a joy to hear their jam sessions.
James is happy to explore different genres with my nephew, and has helped him refine his skills and expand his repertoire, be it jazz, blues, pop or improv.
He is kind and generous, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an engaging and skilled teacher.

Very professional teacher and great person. Not only Luca taught me how to play guitar, he also most importantly gave me the right attitude anyone should have towards learning, listening to and playing music.

I'm getting back into guitar after a 20 year hiatus and Aydin is just what I needed. Aydin has a very in-depth understanding of theory, songwriting, melodic soloing and of course shredding techniques!
One of Aydin's best qualities is how he adjusts his teachings to suit your learning style and ability. He isn't simply a teacher that runs you through scales and chords. He teaches the connections, sounds and patterns through different types of lessons.
For example, I used to think that modes were "simply" a scale starting on a different note. While this is true, Aydin shows the real difference in modes by the variation in sounds the modal notes make on top of each chord. It really makes you listen to what you're playing instead of just going up and down a scale. I never knew I was so tone deaf until I really tried to play in this way! It was great! Only a teacher with an in-depth knowledge of theory can show you music in this way.
You know you're in front of a real musician when they speak to you in "major 5ths" and "perfect 4ths" instead of "it's on the 5th fret" 🙂
If you're unsure, just take one lesson and you'll see how effective he is at guitar and music teaching.
Peter.

Aydin has been a super patient teacher and delivers great structured lessons both online and in-person. Still using the helpful, personalised resources and feedback he provided for my guitar practise!

Ethan is quite simply a great guitar teacher and a lovely guy. My teenage son had never played before but thanks to Ethan his guitar skills and knowledge have really developed quickly. He's patient, encouraging and makes every lesson enjoyable - choosing and teaching music that he knows my son enjoys and will want to practice. I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough. My son looks forward to every single lesson!

Christian has been teaching me for the past 2 years. I've been playing guitar for over 8 years and I have learned (and improved) more in my time Christian than in the entire period before. I highly recommend Christian to anyone who wants to get really good!

Byron is the perfect fit for a guitar teacher.
In 2 lessons he already knows a fair bit about me as a player and person.
The structure of the work is exactly what i need.

Ive been getting lessons with James for about 4 years I believe. He is a really good music teacher, he knows what he's talking about & how to implement within a lesson to suit my needs/skill set.
He will listen on what you want the lesson to include, i.e. songs/riffs to learn, music theory. But sometimes those are set as goals so maybe in a course of 3 lessons you learn other songs/sets of skills, to learn that said song/riff. Generally he likes to go through a whole song with all the parts (depending on the song) to play a song completely and not be a riff machine.
But I'm sure if you really really wanted to he will teach you just the riff.
Over your progress he will give you some options on where you would like to head / skills to improve/learn.
James is nice, calm & will help you with you guitar journey and I hope you give him a chance.

I have been getting lessons from James for 2-3 years now and have no intentions on stopping. Not only is James an amazing guitarist in all fields of popular music, he is very down to earth and easy to talk to which makes lessons far more enjoyable and easier to attend. My playing has improved dramatically over time with the help of James. He is very thorough at getting his point across. A great observer in your playing and where you need to improve and how. I would highly recommend James to any guitar player beginner- advanced.

Hi,
I’ve been getting lessons from James for 3-4 years and am really enjoying it. The lessons are always varied and we swap between electric and acoustic, depending on songs. I get an opportunity to propose songs I like and James is really good at also picking similar songs than includes passages suitable to my skill level.
The teaching is very bespoke and it is always designed to increase my skills, in the areas I’m interested in, and will benefit my playing the most.
James is excellent in determining complementary exercises so we might work on a piece with a focus on strumming technique for a tricky pattern, and have another piece with a lead line requiring other skills - in a lesson. James has also introduced music theory to me, in a way that really gave me “a-ha” and given me confidence to develop my own chord progressions, and get a greater understanding of how music is “built”.
James is a fantastic guitar player, but his main skill is to really make you understand the proper technique and areas of improvement. A strong focus on rather perfecting a simple piece than playing something more advanced, only OK - which I really enjoy.
James is very a very genuine and caring person as well and is really focussed on helping me getting the most out of my playing and being effective with my limited practice time.
It’s the most important hour of “me time” in my week - and I would recommend James to anyone who is looking to commit to improve their guitar playing and take on some great guidance.

Aydin is an amazing teacher with loads of experience in music and the music industry. I've been taking lesson for a while now from him and feel a lot more confident in my playing and understanding of music theory in practise. I highly recommend Aydin to anyone who has a huge passion for music as he can and will be able to help you achieve what ever goal you have in music. he helped my sister with her HSC music performances and exams and as a year 12 he is also helping me prepare for my exams. He has a huge attention to detail with your playing and can help your playing sound absolutely perfect. I greatly recommend Aydin to anyone who has a passion for music

After 4 years of playing without any Mentor, I found this great guy. They way he teachs is amazing! Including the "Dynamics of picking, how to play crystal clear, how to play the most efficient way (timings and finger positions) etc. And this is just the playing part. He also teachs you to make the best and natural sounds for your rig. God knows how I was in darkness about the electric guitar sound engineering. Thanks to Aydin now I'm on the right path. Trying to play fast as a humming bird and smooth as a rabbit skin B/ .

Aydin is an amazing musician, experienced teacher, and overall great guy. I played rock / blues guitar in high school and only decided to pick it up again 20+ years later. What struck me about Aydin is his attention to detail and systematic approach to teaching by breaking things down into simple steps. The first thing he determined that needed work was my picking technique, bending, and vibrato just by watching a video of me playing prior to our first lesson. He was also the first teacher I have had who clearly showed me how to properly execute and practice these techniques. This improved my playing dramatically in just a few lessons and allowed us to build on other fundamentals. I would recommend Aydin to guitarist out there of all levels as there is always something you can learn.

Had my first lesson with Aydin, and was thoroughly impressed. After a few emails back and forth, and sending him some videos, he was able to approach the lesson in a way that met my current experience. He also worked in some key lessons on technique and approaches to building good habits. We ended with starting to a learn a song I was somewhat familiar with. I look forward to my next lessons with Aydin.

Started to learn guitar at the age of 46, having some progress now and the help of Aydin in it is just huge, he's a brilliant teacher, always ready to help.

Aydin is a fantastic teacher. My son has been taking lessons for a few months and enjoys them very much. Aydin is knowledgeable and able to pass this on to his students. My son has visibly improved in guitar and is always eager to have his lesson. I highly recommend Aydin as a guitar teacher.

The lessons with Luke are great, a good combination of theory and practical technique.
I’d like to continue with Luke, and have booked lessons weekly 🙂

Ethan is a lovely guy who will do anything he can to be able to help out his students. He doesn’t get frustrated or annoyed if you don’t get things first shot or even after a few times. He will always try and better your skills and knowledge. Highly recommend Ethan if you are around the Ryde area.

During our stay in May through June, we've had Coen 4-5 times a week for my son. He was so wonderful and fun, my son was looking forward to his lessons. Coen was always very professional yet made the lessons easy and fun. I'll definitely contact him again for our next trip to Sydney.

Coen is a very talented guitar and bass player. Not only that, but he is a relaxed and patient teacher. I asked Coen to help me become a better lead guitarist, and he's targeted our lessons accordingly. I now feel so much more confident playing solos in my band than I did before - I no longer feel like I have no idea what I'm doing!

Coen has been teaching my daughter guitar since February 2019 and in that time she has vastly improved her ability in playing. What has also been most positive is her growing interest in music and the understanding in technical side of the instrument. I put all this down to Coen’s teaching. He seems to have tailored the lessons around my daughter’s learning style to keep her constantly interested and challenged.
As a parent I find Coen well mannered and very reliable. Coen is proof that it makes such a great difference getting a good teacher.

Frank is a great guitar player and teacher - have personally played along side Frank. He's very easy going and has a great ear. You're playing will definitely improve under franks guidance. He also fixed my guitar that was broken for me. Thanks Frank!

This is my second term having guitar lessons weekly with Coen. I am a beginner with only experience playing the piano many years ago now. Coen is an excellent teacher, he is patient and a very good listener and is able to adjust lesson plans according to my ability. Coen is very punctual and is very willing to adjust lesson timing and days if the need arises. His relaxed manner makes learning the guitar very enjoyable and I feel I have made a lot of progress in a very short time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Coen as an excellent guitar teacher.

Charlie's first lesson with Vincent was great! Having lessons in our own home gave us a pressure free environment to scope out whether guitar lessons were doable, and my son came out of the lesson feeling motivated...We bought him his first guitar this weekend and are very keen to proceed with regular weekly lessons!
